Loglines and turbo charged logline

  • Logline- A logline is a short description of your story idea, this way you can simplify the film’s story, people, world and what is at stake. Steven Spielberg said that a logline should be less than 26 words.
  • Turbocharged logline- The turbocharged logline is basically the same as a logline but much more interesting.

For the turbocharged logline, we used this for a basic format.

On the verge of some form of stasis or a bad thing happening, a flawed hero has something big happen to them. But when the core/middle of the story happens, they have to learn the central theme of the story before the big bad thing happens if they fail.
